■ Does FIA Homologated Product expire?
FIA 8856-2018 Racing Apparel:
Typically valid for 10 years from the date of manufacture. These must be replaced after they expire. There is a label/embroidery/printing showing the expiration date on the FIA apparel.
FIA 8854/98 and 8853-2016 Racing Harness:
Typically valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture. These must be replaced after they expire. There is a label showing the expiration date on the FIA harness.
Window Net (FIA 8863-2013):
Typically valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture. These must be replaced after they expire. There is a label showing the expiration date on the FIA window net.
FIA 8855-1999 and 8855-2021 Racing Seat:
Typically valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture. These must be replaced after they expire. There is a label showing the expiration date on the FIA racing seat.
